NUGA Volunteers Network 2026, Call for Student Participation
The Nigerian University Games Association NUGA has officially opened applications for the NUGA Volunteers Network 2026, inviting students across Nigerian universities to participate in supporting and advancing university sports nationwide.
The initiative is designed to engage young people who are passionate about sports, media, leadership, event management, and community development. It provides a platform for students to move beyond spectatorship and actively contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of major university sporting activities.
Through this network, selected volunteers will gain practical, hands on experience within a structured sports environment. Participants will be exposed to real time operations in areas such as event management, media coordination, and administrative support, while also developing critical skills in leadership, teamwork, and organization.
Beyond skill development, the programme creates opportunities for students to connect with peers and professionals across institutions, fostering collaboration and strengthening the national university sports community. It also serves as a pathway for building capacity and preparing students for future roles within the sports industry and related fields.
The NUGA Volunteers Network reflects the Associations continued commitment to not only promoting competitive sports but also investing in student growth and institutional development across Nigerias university system.
